 What is Ratanjot :-

  Ratanjot is an herb whose scientific name is Alkanna Tinctoria  . It belongs to Boraginaceae family . It is also named as dyer's alkanet . It is mostly used in drying purpose , to give colours to food and for growth of hair and dye . 



Where the plant Grows :-  Ratanjot grows in naturally in Himalayas from Kashmir to Nepal .
The Ratanjot can be grown from seeds during spring .

You can have this herb from the ayurvedic herbs seller (Pansari ) from the market . It is easily available in the market .

Hair Beauty Care :+  How we can make use of this herb for hair Beauty Care . 
 We can use this herb for preparation of hair Beauty oil  very easily .

The step wise procedure to prepare the Ratanjot oil is as under :- 
1. Take the ingredients :- 

Coconut oil 200 ml , one tea spoon Amla powder , one tea spoon katha powder  , one spoon of dry tea and 25 gm Ratanjot . Put all these ingredients in a jar of glass and keep in the sun for 3-4 days   The oil is now ready ,strain it with cotton cloth and use it atleast twice a week .

Apply this oil in the pores of you hair with fingers and massage gently , the oil will penetrate deep in the hair roots and nourish the hair and skin .






 This hair oil has anti fungal and anti bacterial property so if there is any problem of dandruff it has excellent effects on dandruff . 

Use it at night and wrap a towel on your hair and keep it overnight and wash in the morning . 
It will blacken your hair slowly and naturally and an amazing shine will appear on your hair .
The natural growth of your hair is apparently seen with in two weeks .


  
   
The second method is take about 200 ml coconut oil in a glass jar or tin and  mix one spoon of feungric powder , one spoon of amla powder ,two spoons of Bhringraj powder ,mix well and keep it in full sun for 3-4 days and then strain with cotton cloth and store in bottle , your hair oil is ready for use .

Apply the oil in the same procedure and  see the amazing beauty of your hair .

The Ratanjot oil is being used from ancient times for hair beauty and results are excellent .

Say goodbye to hair fall :-  
If you are facing problem of hair fall then use the coconut Ratanjot oil, massage well and keep it overnight and wash in the morning , apply this oil at least two times a week and then say goodbye to hair fall . Your hair growth ,shine will be seen .



Olive oil can be used for preparation of Ratanjot oil .  

If coconut oil is not available we can take olive oil or we can take mustard oil . These oils having antioxidants , Vitamins which nourishes our hair beauty .



This oil can be easily made at home with all the ingredients as the same are easily available at home .
